Get In On The Peavey Auction Of $12 Million Worth Of Gear And Parts

If you’re into getting a good deal on music and audio equipment, you might want to check out the upcoming Peavey auction as the company sheds its unused or unsold gear and parts valued at as much as $12 million.

Among the items on the list include nearly new products from Peavey and its various brands, including Valve-King and Vypyr amps, guitar cases, AT-200 self-tuning guitars, Budda amps, and Crest speaker and amplifiers. There’s also a large amount building equipment for guitars and amps, including saws, drill presses, shapers, sanders, stitchers, and presses, plus a “large amount” of wood, including maple, mahogany, ash and walnut.

The reason for the auction is that the company closed a couple of factories to move manufacturing overseas (maybe the last major music gear company to do so) and the left-over gear and parts were taking up a lot of space in a warehouse that Peavey owned. Rather than sell off everything piecemeal, which would take time, the company decided to get rid of it all at once with the help of a professional auction house.

If you want to get in on the Peavey auction, it’s being held online on August 7th by CA Global Partners. Although a catalog of all the items hasn’t been released yet, you can see some pictures of what is available on their website.

If you feel like going to Meridian Mississippi to check things out, you can do that on August 5 and 6. Keep in mind that whatever is purchased has be off the premises 3 days after the auction. Good luck!
