Blues Hall Of Fame Sax Player Joe Sublett On My Latest Inner Circle Podcast

Joe Sublett on Bobby Owsinski's Music Production BlogMy guest this week is saxophonist Joe Sublett, who’s a Grammy and W.C. Handy Award winner as well as an inductee of the Blues Hall of Fame.

Joe’s credits include work with superstars like The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt, Little Feat, The Band, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, BB King and a host of others.

I met Joe on a recent horn overdub session that I was producing and we found we had a lot in common, especially so after our conversation for the podcast. Joe has some great stories about playing with the greats, especially a young Stevie Ray Vaughan, that you’ll want to hear.

On the intro I’ll look at the strategic reason why Apple Music is adding music videos, and why Fender is doing so well when Gibson isn’t.
