You’ve most likely heard of Harrision Consoles, which were a mainstay in music recording studios in the 80s and 90s and still dominate in film studios today. You might not be aware that the company also has an excellent DAW with its Mixbus and Mixbus 32C, and Ben Loftis is my guest on this week’s podcast to talk about them.
During the show Ben talks about the history of Harrison, the evolution of automated consoles, and why the company’s pedigree in analog consoles was key to the sound of its DAWs (which is outstanding, by the way).
On the intro I’ll talk about the most popular brand names dropped in the Top 20 songs over the last 3 years, and a couple of very unique product lines from Fender.
Enjoy the show!
