Adding Depth With A Transient Designer Plugin

BitterSweet Transient DesignerMy good buddy Dave Pensado is always way ahead of most of us in so many areas of mixing, and one area in particular is his use of transient designer plugins. In the video below, Dave shows us how a transient designer plugin can actually increase or decrease depth in a mix.

Of course, depth is something that we always strive for, but mostly achieve by using effects like delay and reverb. Using a transient designer for this purpose is something that I never would have thought of, but it really does work on track elements that have a lot of transients to begin with.
